FAQ

How does the painting add to the reception?

Live painting is an interactive way to entertain your guests, especially those who might not be drawn to the dance floor! Imagine them watching in awe as I encapsulate your special day to life on canvas, capturing the beautiful details you made happen. They can join in the fun by chatting with me, asking questions, and experiencing the magic of creation up close. It’s sure to be a memorable highlight for everyone!

How does the painting add to the memory of the day?

Celebrate your special day in a truly unforgettable way with a stunning painting that captures the magic like no photograph can! My job is to capture the joy and energy around me into a vibrant masterpiece. This dynamic approach breathes life into your wedding, creating a timeless treasure that you'll proudly display for years to come. Experience the unique beauty and heartfelt intimacy of your wedding day through the enchanting power of paint!

What does the set up look like?

I try to keep everything very condensed. I will have an easel for my canvas and a small bag with my paints and brushes. I will also have a small light if needed.

What is required to book my wedding painting?

A 50% deposit and signed contract to secure your date.

If I choose to have the ceremony painted do you still paint at the reception?

Yes. I arrive at least 2 hours before the ceremony to set up and begin the background/underpainting. After the ceremony I quickly pack up my things and setup again at the reception to continue painting.

What do you use?

Alcohol Markers, Gouache, and Acrylic Paint on Stretched Canvas.

Do I get to choose who goes in my paintings?

My packages only guarantee the bride and groom. If you would like specific people added there is a fee per person.

Rosy Lu

Founder and Artist

I am a self-taught artist residing in the Orlando, Florida. I was born and raised in Yangon, Myanmar and immigrated to the United States at 5 years old. I have loved art my whole life and always gave paintings, drawings, and crafts to friends and family as birthday gifts and holiday presents.

I graduated from the University of Central Florida with an engineering degree. After dedicating six years in the field working to find technical solutions, I realized I needed to find a solution for the gap between what I yearned to do and the time I could spare for it. So, in July of 2024, I quit my job and dedicated myself to the pursuit of full-time artistry.

Now, I am grateful for everyday I can pick up a paint brush and bring a story to life. My hope is that whatever it is that brings you joy is something I can help you keep forever though my art.
